Schyla graduated from the University of Sydney in 2024 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, following completion of a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (Honours).
During her studies, Schyla gained valuable hands-on experience in the thoroughbred industry, particularly throughout the breeding season and yearling preparation period.
In 2025, Schyla joined Scone Equine Hospital as a rotating intern, completing a 12-month internship across all service areas. She joins the on-farm ambulatory team in 2026, where she continues to develop her clinical skills.
