Nairn graduated from the University of Queensland in the year of 1966.
He worked in mixed practice and as a New Zealand Government field veterinarian before coming to Scone in 1971. Nairn was a partner in the practice from 1973 to 1995. Nairn’s work involves equine reproduction and stud medicine.
