Dr Jannah Pye

Jannah graduated from Charles Sturt University, New South Wales in 2013.

She completed an internship in equine surgery/anaesthesia at Scone Equine Hospital in 2015. After her internship, Jannah worked in private equine practice in Victoria before moving to the United States to undertake a residency in equine surgery at the University of California-Davis. Following completion of her residency in 2020, Jannah was offered a postdoctoral scholarship position within the J.D. Wheat Veterinary Orthopaedic Research Laboratory at UC Davis.

Her research activities focused on establishing Positron Emission Tomography (PET) as an effective tool for diagnosis of lameness and prevention of catastrophic fractures in racing Thoroughbreds. In February 2021, Jannah achieved Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, and has returned to Australia to join the surgery team at Scone Equine Hospital.
