Following graduation from the University of Queensland with Honours, Brianna started her veterinary career in mixed practice in Far North Queensland. After a few years in mixed practice Brianna completed an internship at Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital and stayed on another season as a Medicine Fellow.
Deciding upon her true calling for all things Internal Medicine, she then went on to complete an Equine Internal Medicine residency at the University of Queensland, finishing in 2023. Brianna gained Diplomate status in 2023 and also gained Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Medicine of Horses in 2019.
As part of her residency, Brianna also completed a professional doctorate researching epidemiological and genetic factors causing insulin dysregulation and Equine metabolic syndrome in ponies.
