Thoroughbreds
Scone is the ‘Horse Capital of Australia’ and the Hunter Valley is the centre of Australia’s Thoroughbred breeding industry, recognised as one of three international centres of Thoroughbred breeding excellence in the world.
Over the past 50 years Scone Equine Hospital has developed in partnership with the Thoroughbred industry, sharing research, training and people with equine practices around the world. This exchange of skills and experience combined with the knowledge and qualifications of our team allows us to understand the industry our clients are involved in.
We understand the ‘business’ of Thoroughbreds but we also understand the dreams and passion that bring people to racing and breeding. We provide veterinary services specifically tailored to the Thoroughbred industry.
