Karen graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2010. During vet school her interest in surgery became the main focus and after visiting many surgery departments in North America and the UK, a career in surgery is her goal.
Karen went on to complete an internship in Equine and Farm animal medicine and surgery at the University of Cambridge in 2011 before joining Scone Equine Hospital as a surgical intern.
Karen is studying for a certificate in equine orthopaedic surgery and hopes to complete a surgical residency and contribute to research. |
