Sam graduated from the University of Queensland in 1995 and worked in mixed and equine practice on the Darling Downs and in Scone.
Sam moved to the UK where he spent the next six years working in large Equine Hospitals, including 3 years in Newmarket at Rossdales.
In 2005 Sam returned to Australia to take up a position with Scone Equine Hospital as a resident veterinarian in the Widden Valley.
He gained Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Equine Medicine in 2007. In 2009 Sam moved to Denman as the Director of the Denman Veterinary Clinic branch of Scone Equine Hospital.
Sam was elected to the Equine Veterinarians Australia Executive Committee in 2016.
Sam’s veterinary interests include equine reproduction and dentistry.
