Britta graduated as a veterinarian in 1994 from Justus Liebig University in Germany and worked in Equine and Mixed Practice in Germany and England for six years.
In 2000, she emigrated to Australia and started her Australian veterinary career in 2001, working in ambulatory practice and developing her particular Interest in Equine Anaesthesia at Scone Equine Hospital.
Britta was appointed Senior Anaesthetist at Scone Equine Hospital in 2005 and gained Membership of the Australian and New Zealand Collage of Veterinary Scientists in Anaesthesia and Critical Care in 2007.
She has worked in racetrack practice in Australia and, since 2014 as an equine anaesthetist in private practice in Germany in both practical and teaching roles.
Britta re-joined the Surgery Team at SEH for the start of the 2015, 2016 and 2017 Stud Seasons as a consultant in Equine anaesthesia and as part of the Intern training program, and rejoins us for the 2018 season.
